We're kicking off this year's Conservation Campouts on BLM land in Utah. During these events we engage in hands-on conservation and camp out from Saturday to Sunday. It's a great way to have real, lasting impact, as well as hang out around the fire with other public land enthusiasts!
For the Utah Campout we will be fence marking and juniper thinning in sage grouse habitat, alongside biologists from the Bureau of Land Management and Utah Division of Wildlife Resources on the Skutumpah Terrace near Panguitch.
As with all our Campouts, treat this weekend as if you were going camping. Bring your outdoors gear, tent and bag, and enough food to see you through the weekend. We'll cook up some burgers and dogs and crack some beers, but it's always good to bring food in case you're still hungry!
