Idaho: Conservation Campout

Idaho panhandle? Huckleberry season? Alpine lake restoration?

Join us near Bonner’s Ferry, Idaho as we harvest and replant native grasses and shrubs to re-grow an over-used and under-loved stretch of shoreline on a local alpine lake. We’ll be working with biologists from the U.S. Forest Service, who will teach about local flora and direct our efforts along the lake. Don’t forget a swimsuit and a fishing pole, either.

As with all of our Campouts, treat this weekend as if you were going camping. Bring your outdoors gear, tent and bag, and snacks to see you through the weekend. We’ll be cooking up some dinner and breakfast, but it’s always good to have extra.
